Changes at 285 South

285 South is off to a fresh start this spring. We have migrated off Substack and are here now, working with Indiegraf.

What does this mean for you?

The most important things will stay the same: you’ll continue to see 285 South stories in your inbox, and at www.285South.com.

These are the changes:

  • We now have an official website, in addition to the email newsletter. This means it is now easier for you to find the stories you like best – whether that’s restaurant reviews, community profiles, or monthly events calendars.
  • You can directly support 285 South.  For the first time ever, you can show your love to 285 South by making a financial contribution, and supporting independent, community journalism that centers immigrant and refugee perspectives in Metro Atlanta.
  • And – we’ll have the opportunity to run ads on the website, from local businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations. (If you’re interested, email sophia@285south.com or sales@285south.com).

These are good things! It means we are continuing to grow here, to serve you the best we can.

Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions: sophia@285south.com.
