Written by and starring former Out of Hand Associate Artistic Director, Lee Osorio, Prisontown is a play that follows a writer who goes home to Lumpkin, GA, which is home to one of the nation’s largest immigration detention centers. In the play, presented in 40 living rooms across the metro area, the writer “witnesses the barbarity of the nation’s immigration crisis, and a small town torn by poverty and the prison industry.”
