Since the start of 2025, we’ve been learning about how local groups serving immigrant and refugee communities have been impacted directly or indirectly by changes at the federal level. Several nonprofits had their funding frozen or cut; increased ICE arrests and detention has meant a need for more pro bono or low bono legal support, and cash assistance for impacted loves ones is an increasing need. We’ve also been staying updated on ongoing needs, and have compiled this list on ways to offer your support.

Hotlines to know

  • Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights (GLAHR) hotline for anyone with tips and questions related to ICE activity or Know Your Rights info: (770)-457-5232
  • National Immigration Detention Hotline, available inside every Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility. Dial 9233# from a facility phone.
