The Atlanta Chinese Dance Company is “amplifying modern American cultural stories” in its latest performance, “Chinese American Journeys. ” Among the stories featured in the series of three mini dance dramas is one inspired by Mabel Ping-Hua Lee, a Chinese American teenager who led a historic march in 1912 in New York and one following the journey of a Chinese American growing up in the South.
