Book reading + Discussion: In This Family & Homeland: My Father Dreams of Palestine

A reading by local author Shelly Anand of her latest book In This Family, and a reading by author Hannah Moushabeck of her picture book Homeland: My Father Dreams of Palestine. The readings, which are geared for children ages 4-10, will be followed by a discussion for adults about  “how children’s authors and publishers are navigating the politics of writing and publishing in a time of solidarity with Palestine.” The event is co-sponsored by the Refaat Mobile Library – a traveling library dedicated to the Palestinian poet & professor Refaat Alareer.
