Grassroots Organizing for K-12 Asian American Studies

Asian American Voices for Education (AAVEd) is hosting a meet and greet and chance to hear from the editors and contributors of Grassroots Organizing for K-12 Asian American Studies Stories from the Field.

The book features stories about Asian American grassroot organizing in Georgia through counterstorytelling, an approach that “seeks to challenge dominant narratives by centering marginalized communities’ experiences and perspectives as sources of valuable knowledge.”
