The Georgia Asian American Community Archive Initiative (GAACAI), along with community partners, is recruiting participants to collaborate in a series of workshops that focus on highlighting the stories of Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ Asian Immigrant Community.
Gautham Reddy, co-founder of GAACAI, told 285 South, “I think it is important, now more than ever, to uplift voices that are at risk of being unheard or silenced.” The workshops, he said, “will focus on empowering participants to effectively (and critically) use AI tools to tell their personal stories and let people know they are not alone and that their voice matters.”

Deadline to apply has been extended to April 29 – application here. Workshops run through May and June.
