Refaat Alareer Commemoration

The Atlanta Multifaith Coalition for Palestine (AMCP), the Refaat Alareer Mobile Library, Charis Books & More, and the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) are hosting “Liberation is Just a Poem Away,” an event commemorating one year since the death of Refaat Alareer, a Gazan poet, teacher and activist.  The event will feature a poetry reading and a presentation about the role of poetry in the fight for Palestine.  Register here.
