Join Resistance Cinema ATL for a free film and lecture series on Patricio Guzmán’s 57-minute documentary on the Sept. 11, 1973 assassination of democratically-elected president, Salvador Allende, CHILE, OBSTINATE MEMORY. According to organizers, “the film asks viewers to consider how memory works in the aftermath of a fascist takeover, how to reckon with hard truths, and how we might find the strength to move forward with renewed hope.” More info here.
