On February 14, there is a gathering for Hearts Behind Bars to mourn the life of Heber Sánchez Domínguez, who died in ICE custody on January 14, 2026. The Georgia nonprofit El Refugio is meeting with the family of Herber and members of the community at the Robert A. Deyton Detention Facility, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
