El Refugio, a nonprofit that supports those detained at the Stewart Detention Center and their loved ones, is gathering donations for departure bags that will be given to people who have been released from the detention facility. Raksha, a South Asian community organization that supports survivors of domestic violence, is launhcing its annual Art Show. The show, titled Leap of Faith, will feature art that shows how "leaps of faith turned vision in reality." Georgia State University's School of Film, Media & Theatre and Daffodil Studios are hosting a screening of Saffron Kingdom, a drama about the journey of a Kashmiri family that begins with their life in Srinagar in the 1990s to their life in the suburbs of Atlanta in 2019. More info here.
