Adobo, a Filipino-American restaurant and catering service, is hosting the fifth annual Fil-Am Fest, where you can check out Filipino-American businesses and organizations at this festival marking Filipino Food Month. The day long festival will include live music, performances, and Filipino cuisine. More details here.
Stone Mountain Park is hosting its third annual Latino Family Festival, which kicks off April 26 and 27, and continues May 3 and 4. The festival will include a drone and light show, performances (mariachi, flamenco dancers, Aztec dancers), as we as a parade. More info here.
El Refugio, a nonprofit that runs a hospitality house for those visiting their loved ones being held at the Stewart Detention Center, is hosting a concert, with musicians Rebekka Goldsmith and Will Robertson, to raise money for their work. Tickets are $40 and proceeds go towards the organization's hospitality programs. More info here.
Mosaic Health Center (formerly called the Clarkston Community Health Center), is hosting a health fair to mark it's 10 year anniversary, in partnership with Dekalb Public Health. Taste Ukrainian food, check out arts and crafts from Ukraine, as well as listen to Ukrainian singers, at "Taste of Ukraine" on Sunday - all part of an effort to raises funds for medical equipment for a Kyiv-based hospital, according to the event website. More info here.
The Latin American Association is hosting a "Spring Mixer" to raise money for the organization's work to support Latino communities in the Atlanta area. Tickets to join are $10 and include a drink, as well as two hours of free parking. More info here.
