The Chinatown Mall in Chamblee is hosting a lantern festival, and will include lantern displays, dragon and lion dances, a range of workshops (calligraphy, paper-cutting, and lantern-making), activities for kids, and festive food at the food court.

El refugio, a non-profit that supports people who are being detained at Stewart Detention Center, is hosting its first ever benefit market. Expect food, drinks, and music.  Proceeds will benefit the organization.

The Alif Institute is inviting folks who play Arabic music to come together for an informal jam session. "All instruments and levels are welcome," according to the Alif Institute website.  The jam session will meet the first Saturday of every month, starting in March. Free and open to the public.
