El Refugio, a nonprofit that supports those detained at the Stewart Detention Center and their loved ones, is gathering donations for departure bags that will be given to people who have been released from the detention facility. Donations needed include: new shoes, socks, undergarments, and pants. More details here.

Raksha, a South Asian community organization that supports survivors of domestic violence, is launhcing its annual Art Show. The show, titled Leap of Faith, will feature art that shows how "leaps of faith turned vision in reality."
