What’s happening? Ramadan, Easter, the three year anniversary of the spa shootings, primary election day in GA, and the arrival of spring.

Saturday, March 2

Chai Pani anniversary specials: Decatur-based restaurant Chai Pani is turning 11 years old. Muslim Advocacy Day: The Georgia Muslim Voter Project, Council on American-Islamic Relations Georgia, and Inner-City Muslim Action Network Atlanta will meet with elected officials and will be leading an advocacy training for attendees at the Georgia State Capitol. 8am – 11am, Central Presbyterian Church, Tull Fellowship Hall, 201 Washington St SW, Atlanta, 30303. Friday, March 8

Women’s Wellness and Empowerment Fair: To mark International Women’s Day, Amigos de la Comunidad is hosting an event for women that will include wellness activities and discussions about mental and emotional health. 10a – 1p, Sequoya Middle School (cafeteria), 3456 Aztec Rd #2702, Doraville, 30340. Atlanta spa shootings  – Day of Remembrance: Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Atlanta is hosting a community gathering and a day of remembrance to mark three years since the spa shootings. The gathering will include a discussion with panelists on mental health care and the importance of solidarity between communities. 12p – 2p, 5680 Oakbrook Pkwy, Suite 148, Norcross, 30093. Small business pop-up at Refuge Coffee:  The International Rescue Committee – Atlanta is bringing together local refugee and immigrant entrepreneurs to help them feature their items. Ramadan and Easter Bazaar: Also at the Alif Institute – a bazaar featuring arts, crafts, and food from local vendors. There will also be opportunities to fundraise to support humanitarian relief efforts  in Gaza, updates on the situation in Palestine and how people can help, as well as discussions around children’s mental health. Sunday, March 10

Tuesday, March 12
